In 1558 the alliance between the two kingdoms was further strengthened by the marriage of Mary, Queen of Scots to the future Francis II of France.but when Scotland was declared protestant, and allied itself with protestant England, the alliance with France catholic country was over.

French and Scottish forces together won against the English at the Battle of Baugé in 1421.Many Scottish mercenaries chose to settle in France. Some were granted lands and titles in France. In the 15th and 16th centuries, they became naturalised French citizens.

you're not true scotish, because scotish ppl love France and for many scotish France is better than England.I swear it's true information (go to research on google if you don't believe me) but during the 100 years's war. french and scotish have a military alliance against England. between 1295 to 1603.we have 3 centuries of military alliance (defensive and offensive) each country protect the other. french army supported scotish and vice versa.

France V England this weekend in the 6 nations even though I hate the French i would rather support them than the English.The football world cup kicks off soon and there is already outrage in England that T-Shirts are being sold in Scotland with the slogan "ANYONE BUT ENGLAND".Viva la France
