I visited the war graves in Lae, Papua New Guinea. This song was in my head. It's right next to the Japanese forestry school. We don't have to love everyone. We just have to understand that we're not all the same.

Love this version - one of the first I ever got to know. Always a pleasure to hear it again. The song itself is superb, but this rendition, I also find moving.

@SuperPhil1966 In what way is he a retard? And it what way is he unpatriotic? In the Great War our ancestors were cannon-fodder to solve an imperialistic squabble between 2 parts of the same family. Lets not crack on that these brave working-class lads were defending our liberty though. They were used by people who thought they were expendable.

Where did I say anything about Britain above???...me thinks you have a guilt complex or maybe made a Freudian slip...and as for "the Brits" they invaded nearly every other country...except Poland...LOL

His grandfather died fighting because 2 royals fell out. Him and millions more. Who profits from Wars and who loses out?? Take your head out of the sand you fool. Its nothing to do with patriotism. The same fuckers who start these wars are probably holidaying together somewhere. baaa baaa.

I did the war graves of Belgium and France last year, it was an experience I tell you, brought to life by our coach guide, you could almost feel the fear/terror/horror of this war. You should go if you have an interest.
