@tswagg504 Most of the blacks in L.A. migrated from the south in the 40's / 50's when there was still work in the factory's. After they shut down things started to go down hill. The blacks who had money started to move out of Watts where all the blacks lived. They moved to places like south L.A. and Inglewood , but the whites didnt like that and used to beat them up if they ever crossed the invisible border. When the blacks got tired of getting beat up they formed their own gangs and clubs
