I don't care if the trainer is tugging on his ear, his tail, his trunk, or any other part of his body. It is simply amazing that this elephant could learn to do thisi!!!!

I'm addicted... and fascinated. Bring starlight back to people, nature and elephants.

See, here is some food for thought, with the differances in the line thickness, is the elephant recognizing perspective and shadows, or is is just painting what it remembers? Just gives you something to think about how intelligent elephants really are.

According to the "snopes" website, a site that assesses the truth or fiction of various urban myths, the elephant is actually painting the image itself. Magnets are not necessary. But they do this under the direction of trainers and can only do specific paintings that they've memorised. Google: snopes elephant painting, for the article.

The handler is guiding the elephant by tugging on its ear....left/right/up/down. The elephant has no artistic talent. Its a routine that has been worked on for years.Sorry to burst your bubble folks.

Love this painting! I I have a topic on art. would like to hear some intelligent explanations of what the word "art", in general means to you and how you are inspired to make "your" art. Be honest please!
